As you look toward the future, what is one career related goal that you have for yourself?
A career related goal that I’ll always keep as my north star is to keep investing in my professional growth and never stop learning. Whether it’s seeking out regular advice from peers and mentors that I look up to, serving on a board for a cause I’m passionate about, or actively participating in industry-relevant groups and meetings. I enjoy pursuing diverse experiences and opportunities to learn that complement wherever I may be in my career and push my thinking in new ways.
Now that you have graduated from business school, what’s something exciting about “life after business school?”
I have a lot more self-awareness about my strengths and shortcomings, and with that self-awareness comes deeper confidence in myself and how I approach decisions at work. Post-MBA roles also inherently come with more opportunities to lead and shape the direction of organizations than before, which entails both greater responsibility and room for greater impact. On a lighter note, it’s pretty cool that no matter where I travel, I have friends from business school in every city (Yale SOM alumni are pretty spread out across the globe)!
