While many MBA students were on spring break, most MBA programs across the world made a fast pivot to a virtual MBA environment as the world grappled with COVID-19. While many of the end goals remained the same, students were forced to think and work differently in this new environment, in order to achieve their goals and make the most of their MBA experience.
In this episode, I had the chance to interview four current MBA students. During our webinar, we covered:
- The transition to virtual classes, and how students are making the most of the virtual learning environment
- The ways in which students are finding ways to build relationships and drive meaningful connection despite physical distancing
- How student organizations are navigating how they serve their students, and Anna Ward specifically talks about pivoting the SWIB Conference from physical to virtual in less than 2 weeks
- What MBA internship is like right now amidst COVID-19, and how students are adjusting
- Advice for future students who are wondering what the new way of business school is like
