About a year ago, I started MBASchooled because I wanted to give an in-depth look of what it was like to be an MBA student. As a result of MBASchooled, thousands of perspective MBA applicants have gotten a clearer picture of what business school is like through the stories and lessons from current MBA students.
One of the most challenging aspects of business school is the first semester. As many students attempt to adapt to moving to a new city, academic life, and career planning, it can be easy to get overwhelmed and stressed. Fortunately, like any transition, there is an adjustment process, and people come out of the semester (perhaps with some battle scars) ready to tackle what’s next.
To illustrate what this looks like we at MBASchooled have interviewed a number of first-year MBA students from the Top Business Schools across the United States. These students were kind enough to talk to us about their transition, challenges, and lessons learned from their first semester. Take a look and find out what it’s like to be a first-year MBA student.
